520.3.#.a: The shear-wave velocity profile at the Texcoco strong motion accelerograph array site was evaluated down to 39 m using Seismic Cone Penetrometry (SCPT). The hard layer from 28 m to 29 m was drilled to allow penetration to greater depths. The results are compared with those obtained from shear-wave reflection/refraction, and from the inversion of microtremor data. All the studies agree on the depth and shear-wave velocity above the hard layer, but diverge below it.
